Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak… November. That’s right, kids. Election day has dawned on south-central Montana only to find most of this part of the state under a winter weather advisory. We’re expecting 6-12 inches of snow in the mountains and as much as 4 inches of snow in the city, depending on the temperature of the surface during precipitation time.
This would be our second snow storm of the year, the second one that has affected the city, anyhow. Judging by the girl who just jogged past the window wearing the same stuff she normally wears— shorts and a T-shirt — it can’t be all that cold yet. But the snow is coming.
The election is coming too. Actually, it’s already here. People are voting like mad all around the county, all around the country. The long wait has begun now for the returns. How many hours until they start coming back? I want a new president already!
