Social Networks for Everyone?

New Media Age reported in their June 21 issue on Web accessibility that disability experts have called on social sites like MySpace and Bebo to improve their pages. A spokesman for RNID, a UK based advocacy group for the deaf and hard of hearing, told the journal that since the sites are becoming mainstream, they need to consider accessibility when planning their layouts and content. The journal could not reach MySpace or Facebook for comment.
