Google Buys Landmark Garage

Google has apparently begun to expand into the real estate market. The Web giant recently purchased the garage where its founders created the search engine almost a decade ago. According to a report published on, the company did not reveal how much they paid for the property, but HP recently paid over a million dollars for a similar landmark out of its past. Google also asked that the garage’s address not be published because it is already overwhelmed with tourists, but the address is easy to find on–no surprise–Google.
